World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is a vital part of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item and the ability to enchant.
They also offer bonus effects and improvements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Each item recycled adds a level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapon

If a weapon is upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus and an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. The weapon can also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components that provide additional attributes or effects, and some have distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be inserted into armor, weapons, trinkets, or gathering tools, and most require that the equipment has an available upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. Once a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade component within it, it can be upgraded with a different one however the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool that is attached to an item.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that increases certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier it can be done up to four times.
Once the weapon has reached its maximum upgrade, it can then be modified to give different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. Several of these upgrades can be applied at once, and their effects differ based on the nature of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the damage that a weapon inflicts.
In general, it's best to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then, you can upgrade your armour defense and, finally the secondary stats required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading other equipment. This will increase DPS. This is especially relevant to enchantments that can be very efficient in increasing the damage of a weapon and other stats.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to boost the performance of certain weapons, armors trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have other effects, such as an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancements. item upgrades are available by crafting, buying from NPC vendors and loot drop, or as quest rewards.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In most cases, a piece of armor will be upgraded to the next level after an upgrade is applied. Most types of armor can be upgraded, however certain items (such as the starter armour found in Great Sky Island) cannot.
Most armor upgrades offer a small increase to an item's base defense or strength. Some upgrades, however, can result in significant increases in strength or defense. This is especially true when upgrading epic items.
In addition to increasing the defense of an item, some upgrades also give specific abilities that can be activated while wearing a piece of armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, such as giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, such as reducing the amount of damage that is taken while wearing armor or granting the chance to avoid attacks.
Upgrades to armor can require several attempts, depending on the type. For example the case of a player wanting to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between the ages of 59-67. The second attempt would result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor that has a base defense of 67-77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this, they must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations is home to a powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Despite popular belief armor isn't useless in The Division 2. The truth is that some armors come with very substantial enhancements to poison or curse, fire, or magic damage reduction, which makes them invaluable for certain builds. There are other ways to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading armor, such as using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease the total weight.
Potion
When you put a potion into the stand for brewing, you will be able to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new level of effects from the potion and can be repeated to unlock more potencies.
The potion also gains a custom color code which the player can choose by using /give. This alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the effects of the particles in the potions.
The water bottle, mundane potions that are thick and awkward now have a brand new texture for brewing. Add potion of weakness and potion of healing in Creative inventory. Addition of lingering potions, which can be brewed with Dragon breath or splash potions. Also included is a thick potion which has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Bug Tracker is the place to report issues relating to this patch.
Trinket
A trinket is a small ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. It could be a ring or necklace. Or, it could be a tiny banner that marks the yard of a boat. It could also refer to a gilded trinket that is attached to the mast of a boat.
This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze by making them more prevalent. At present the trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more popular and gives each floor the chance of having an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket cost a small amount of energy.
The magic from the enchanted scepter is believed to be affecting the dungeon itself which makes it more likely to produce grass and water. At its current level this trinket will make X% of the floors become filled with water or grass but it doesn't affect enchantments, symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or other items created to help solve hazard rooms.
While it appears like a normal newt's eye, this mystical item seems to be affecting your vision in ways that go beyond merely reducing your field of view. At the present time, this trinket increases the overall health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterkins, and wells of health by X%. It also grants the ability to see enemies within the Y tiles. This trinket is not stacked with the Increased Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you have completed the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters and in chests and crates. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
If you find a trinket that needs to be upgraded then place it in the Anvil to do so. This will have an unpredictable effect on the trinket either prolonging its life or enhancing its effects. You can reorge a Trinket for as many times as you like, but it will always have a different effect than the one you had when you forged it.
You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by just a little.
